This is a Ministry of Fellowship Outreach in Camden, SC. It is our prayer that you will be blessed in a mighty way by the Lord! Included in Pastor Dixon's Church ministry is writing Christian poetry and other Faith based literature. This Christian Outreach has a Bible - Tract ministry, Sidewalk and Radio Outreach, Preaching DVD's and internet publication! Dixon does Christian Folk Art, along with Biblical Sculpture Works. This thing just keeps on expanding! Pastor Dixon grew up in Camden SC and moved across the river at the age of nine-years-old to continue his lessons of everyday life. He became a Minister in 1985 after being Ordained by the Columbia Baptist Association through Ridgeway First Baptist Church. After becoming a Minister, Preacher Donnie also was involved in Evangelistic outreach before settling down as Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church. He graduated from the Institute of Biblical Studies out of Lynchburg Virginia. He was a member of a Para-Rescue team and a Jumpmaster! He served in the Army National Guard in the great state of South Carolina.
Donnie surrender his life fully to Jesus Christ at the age of thirty. Born August 8, 1951, Preacher Dixon was one of five-children to Bill and Marlene Dixon. Raised in a Christian home, Donnie wondered off for a time as the Lord then convicted Donnie of his old sinful ways. On August 8, 1981 his life was changed and Jesus then called him into the Ministry. To God be all glory! Brother Dixon worked in the Medical profession for a decade with the Ambulance Service as an EMT both in Kershaw and Richland County in South Carolina. Afterwards; he became a Safety Specialist at a local industry as well as a First Aid Instructor through the American Red Cross. He's married to a Nurse, Peggy, and their sons name is, Kevin. Thank you for your interest in this Ministry! After the Preaching, go to other links to see Folk art, Sculpture scenes and read books.
Of Fellowship Baptist Church
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament (KJV-1611) to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed, and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and Devine revelation of God to man. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfection's (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2Cor. 13:14; John 14:10,26; 1 John 5:7,8).
The Person and Work of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might revel God and redeem sinful men (Isa. 7:14; 9:6; Luke1:35; John1:1-2; 14:12; 2Cor 5:19-21; Gal. 4:4-5; Phil. 2:5-8).
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross and that our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection from the dead (Acts 2:18-36; Rom. 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Eph.1:7; 1 Peter 1:3-5) We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate
(Acts 1:9-10; Heb. 9:24; 7:25; Rom. 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2).
The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement; and that he is the Supernatural Agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ at salvation, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption (John 16:8-11; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; 2 Cor. 3:6, Eph. 1:13-14).
We believe that He is the Divine Teacher who assists believers to understand and appropriate the Scriptures and that it is the privilege and duty of all the saved to be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 1:17-18; 5:18; 1 John2:20,27).
We believe that God is sovereign in the bestowal of spiritual gifts to every believer. God uniquely uses evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip the believers in the assembly in order that they can do the work of the ministry (Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:4-11,28; Eph. 4:7-12).
Nature Of Man
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and, that man is totally depraved, and, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition but possesses the free will to accept or reject God's call to salvation (Gen. 1:26-27; Rom. 3:22-23; 5:12; 6:23; Eph. 2:1-3; 4:17-19).
We believe that Salvation is the gift of God brought to man by Grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins, and that it is God's will that no one should perish, but that all should come to repentance (John 1:12; Eph. 1:7, 2:8-10; 1 Pet. 1:18-19).
The Eternal Security and Assurance of Believers
(1) We Believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and not their works, (good or bad) and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Rom. 8:1, 38-39; 1 Cor. 1:4-8; 1 Pet. 1:4-5).
(2) We Believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of God's Word, which, however, clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh (Rom. 13:13-14; Gal. 5:13; Titus 2:11-15).
We believe Satan is a fallen cherub (Ez.28: 14-19) He is the accuser of the brethren (Rev.12: 9-12) And he will be cast into a lake of fire forever more, along with all those on this earth that rejected Jesus Christ as Saviour. (Rev. 20: 11-15)
Those who are not saved; my prayer is that you will surrender your heart to Jesus right away!
There is no reason for anyone to hold back. Excuses will not get you into
Heaven! Life is precious and there's no time to waste!
The Blood of Jesus can save you when you give your life to Christ. Please hear my cry! Come to Jesus and repent of sin, then ask the Lord to forgive you by His Grace!
This is the most urgent decision you could ever make for all eternity! It's easier than A B C.
(A) Accept: John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(B) Believe: Romans 10:11 - For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
(C) Confess: Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
If you want to be saved, pray this prayer from your heart...
"Lord, I'm sorry for my sins and I repent! Please forgive me and come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my only Saviour and receive the free-gift of eternal Salvation. I believe you are God, and that you died and arose on the third-day. Thank you for becoming the sacrifice for my sins! In Jesus' name. Amen!"
